"She’s smart and not afraid to ask to understand better and perform her impressive artistic skills to apply them to the subject.
Speaking of textile print design she has shown me as a professor that she has a great sense of colour combinations and graphically she can express a concept while staying minimal"
(Giulia Ceragioli, professor at IED Milano & professional fashion and textile designer)

Égaré Dans Le cosmos
Égaré Dans Le Cosmos autumn/winter 2024 is a collection made to tell a story. This collection narrates the tale of a team of astronauts who go up into space, get lost, and have to survive in their environment, by evolving and changing their human nature. Their colors and silhouette end up morphing into this otherworldly form, a side-effect of this alien environment and the mating with extra-terrestrial beings.
This collection of costumes is inspired by the 1974 movie Alien directed by Ridley Scott and the 2006 work of science fiction All Tomorrows: A Billion Year Chronicle of the Myriad Species and Mixed Fortunes of Man written by the Turkish artist C. M. Kosemen.

Sustainable Fashion
TWO OUTERWEAR GARMENTS, A TRENCH, AND A BOMBER JACKET, MADE FROM RECYCLED MATERIALS, SUCH AS A LARGE PAINTING PRINT AND RICE BAGS. THIS PROJECT'S GOAL WAS TO SHOW AWARENESS THAT TRASH CAN BE RENEWED. THIS PROJECT WAS BASED ON THE IDEA OF PUTTING THE FAMOUS ENGLISH PROVERB “ONE MAN’S TRASH IS ANOTHER MAN’S TREASURE” INTO PRACTICE.

MACABRE INNOCENCE
Macabre Innocence A/W 23 is a collection inspired by 80s horror and gothic films, such as the 1987 film Hellraiser, Emily Brontë's Jane Eyre, and Del Toro's Crimson Peak.
The idea of multiple physical layers to the human form is prominent in this collection but mixed with the volume and romantic air of the Gothic. The mix of thin fabrics such as satin and chiffon with thicker fabrics such as gabardine and leather, represents these two film genres.

THE MAZE
The Maze S/S 24 is a collection with a challenge. The instructions were to take a fashion brand at random and create a collection as if I were the creative director, My brand was to be Givenchy. I chose to take a logo mania approach to the project, by focusing on the logo of Givenchy and basing the silhouettes and concepts around the maze. By using core concepts of the maze such as false exits, walls, a beginning and an end, and more.

Flyer designs
On the 22nd of July 2023, we organized an exhibition to showcase our art, it was also an opportunity to collaborate with each other. For this exhibition, I designed the flyers, and the program, and exposed my own pieces. For this event, I created two garments, the first; was a jersey tuta, with a frill collar and cuffs made of polyester lace and a tutu with hand-painted details. This piece is a sort of manifestation of my goal to make costumes for the circus. The second piece is a commentary on the role of fashion and how my perception differs from what I was taught in school. I view fashion as an artistic expression more than a commodity, so to express that opinion I collaborated with a visual artist who is part of the collective. I made a gown from heavy-weight cotton, with wood beams to create a canvas-like structure. Jeremy Kangou, the visual artist, created this colorful piece of art on the front of the piece.

About Me
Jim Jarmusch, the American director of the 2013 movie Only Lovers Left Alive states: “Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. (...) Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul”. No one speaks more to my soul than Eiko Ishioka, the renowned costume designer for Bram Stocker’s Dracula. Her talent does not even attempt to be normal, her works draw you into this alien world. Expression, true, unfiltered expression, is what I yearn for, and that is ever so present in Ishioka’s work.

With an architect grandfather, a painter grandmother, and an interior designer mother, art was ever so present during my childhood. I have always turned to art to communicate my being to the world. From an early age, my hands and legs would constantly be covered in paint stains, and everything I owned would be customized and altered. I truly enjoyed having my surroundings show who I am and how I feel. I would experiment with as many different types of mediums as I could, when I got older, I found myself attracted to photography and its ability to capture humans, as they truly are. After this, I slowly discovered that I can take art wherever I go, through the fabrics that my body wears. I could see the way that it affected my mood, in a good outfit I could easily feel more confident, beautiful, and smart, so I started to dress up as a means to express my inner being.
The concept of performing through dressing up has led me to pay more attention to costuming in the performing arts. These garments have the ability to tell a story without uttering a single word. Communication is done through powerful visual means. I began to watch certain movies for the sole purpose of the mise en scène. Paying close attention to the creature designs in science fiction, and the beautiful ethereal gowns in fantasy. This newfound passion incited me to want to learn the art of costume design.
I was fortunate enough to live in a country that teaches sewing from an early age, and I got to improve that skill greatly over many years. Through trial and error, I became passionate about making things myself, and the art of DIY was applied to everything I could. By making garments with an existing pattern or modifying one to my ideas and then later on after learning pattern making during my year at IED Milano, I was able to make pieces from my designs.
