The couple requested a design concept for their living, dining and kitchen. They wanted and open concept and color. The wall between kitchen and dining was desired to be removed and the only furniture that they wanted to keep was the pretty wooden dining set.

The kitchen of this rental apartment looked dark and outdated.
The bar from the 80's was too high, but had a lot of storage. I decided to shorten it, so it could also be used as a work station and added some lights.
Now the kitchen not only gets more sunlight but is also welcoming, because it does not have the triangle giving you a sensation of "you are not welcome". I took the opportunity of repainting the ceiling of the room white to make it feel and look more spacious. Big impact with a small budget.
