Hi, my name is Joanna Brown, an Interior Design and Decorator from the Lake Leman region in Switzerland. I truly believe that your home reflects who you are. When you are concerted to define your home, every detail reveals who you are and makes you feel most comfortable and inspired. I help you transform a mere property into a livable and exceptional home through my company, Joanna Brown Interiors.
My Story
For over 15 years, I spent my life moving through different careers in fitness, administration and marketing and art before settling on interior design, (hobby was interiror design and events decoration) which I have enjoyed for the last two years.
I have been exposed to the world of design for many years. In my childhood, I lived in Jamaica, which still impacts my interior design style. Having the privilege of coming from an artist and architectural family, I learned how to interact with the world around me. While living in Canada, I worked as an Art Agent. I aquired skills that have been crucial in shaping me into the interior design specialist that I am today.
However, it is in the fitness world that I have learned to provide participants with a holistic experience. Mind, Body and Spirit. These values come forth when I am designing a space for a client. It is essential what feelings the space evokes in them, how the colors impact the mood and that the shapes are in harmony with their goals.

Covid taught us that there is no place safer than home. People have since been spending more time in their alfresco and garden spaces, hence seeing the need to invest in creating spaces where they can comfortably and safely socialize. That is why I have been improving my game and ensuring my client's exterior is as inviting as their home with smells, and visual and phonetical stimulations.

Joanna has always had a passion for gardening and landscape design since her childhood years, a passion that was naturally bred by her artist and architectural family in Jamaica. She loved spending time outdoors, exploring her surroundings, and getting her hands dirty in the garden.
Years later, while living in Canada, Joanna worked as an Art Agent where she was constantly surrounded by creativity and amazing artists. It was during this time that she realized her true passion was in design, specifically landscape design.
Joanna has traveled extensively, and it was during her travels that she fell in love with Costal, California Casual, Hamptons, Palm Beach, and Modern landscape design styles. She has also had successful career stints in fitness, administration, marketing, and art before settling on interior design.
This wide worldview drives Joanna and her very competent team of landscaping enthusiasts to look at the world differently and come up with beautiful and innovative designs for both home and business spaces.
